Default Need opinions

I'm fixin to shoot some clear on the fretboard and want your opinions. Do you think I should tint the wear on the edges of the fretboard?

I think it looks great to leave it because it has vintage vibe and is honest wear. I really think I'm just gonna leave it but want to know what you think. Don't mind the sanding dust all over it.

OK, I am officailly leaving it alone. Shot some clear over it the other day.

In case you all thought I had forgotten about the Stanleycaster, I figured I'd post an update.

I mentioned I had sanded the "binding" off because I wasn't happy with the width of it. Well, I am half way done putting it back on. I used the same method of taping the sides of the headstock with pinstripe tape but I did it in the sun so I could see any uneven spots. It's sprayed with five layers and I'll be masking and spraying the front side of the binding tomorrow. I'll use my new custom tools to mask that.

The back of the neck needs one more coat of clear and then sanding and it will be done.

I need to figure out a better way of masking the plastic part of the truss rod opening. The little plasic insert or whatever it's called rotated a bit in the opening so, it's really difficult to mask. I can't get it straightened out. I think I'm going to sand the edges a bit to better define the opening and then back mask and spray the plastic black just so I can mask it back off better for the color coat. Any ideas?

Speaking of which...
I do intend to get the guard done as soon as I can. It seems to rain every day that I have off so that hasn't been helping. But I haven't forgotten.
