145,000 v-6, no on the chain...whoops, no belt, chain on this one, couldnt get her to rev above 5 grand today, but its the idle issue, all over the place, and makes a french or fog horn sound...hiway, shes fine...just thinking ahead for winter and hope to use her in the snow...need to check the codes on her...what IS funny is miata recommends you change the belt at 80,000 The state of california requires it to last 100,000 same belt go figure
