Howdy,
I have a Dan-o-Matic floor tuner I never use anymore. I've used it live two or three times but, all my multi effects have tuners in them so, I don't need it. The reviews of these are all over the map so, I'll tell you my honest opinion. Although these are chromatic, I've found they are only really responsive to standard guitar range. I have used it for my bass and it did alright but, you have to be patient until the "needle" settles down. It's good for a guitar's range and I did try drop D just to see how well it picked it up. It was fine. These are heavy and have metal cases. These can be powered by a battery or a standard 9 volt adaptor. If it's powered by a battery, the back light isn't activated but the needle and arrow lights are. Once you plug in an adapter, the back light comes on. There is one paint chip in it that you can see in this picture on the right edge: The spot you see by the "A" on the display is just a piece of lint I guess I forgot to clean off.The backlight is pretty bright for dark stages: ![]() The inputs and outputs are: In, Out, Muted Out (mutes the signal when tuning) and AC in ![]() I figure the $28 will be enough to ship it and give me a couple bucks. Those of you who have "Wheeled and Dealed" with me, let me know if you need it. Anyone who has something to trade, let me know.
