I noticed that there is a forum for inventions, and it didn't have any threads in it yet so, "First Post!"

Anyway, since Dan is the Tech-Dude, and works with satellite technology, here's my thought:

With all the satellite radio stations people are using, why can't you put a "dislike" button on their recievers? When I worked in radio, I would cover for the music director when he'd go on vacation, and I realized that most programming for radio is just based on a very small population of Music Directors so, anyways, if there was a "dislike" button on satellite radio recievers, that information could be saved or compiled to help with programming. Another feature would be to keep track of how often people turn up the volume on the radio because they like a tune.

I know it's not as simple as I'm making it because the recievers are only "recievers," and would have to be set up to transmitt data. Perhaps it could use the same type of system that GM's "On-Star" uses to send data. I think that used to be cell-phone based, but that might have changed.

Anyways, Dan, take it away!

Simple , on/off button, or change the channel...Monte the logistics are crazy, the internet radio would most likely work, xm radio is transmitted from way above, as well as noaa weather with the right software, I have two units that will do both, but transmitting to a satt. is not one...
